High Performance Schools

Challenges for ambitious schools

Nelson Mandela once said: “Education is the most powerful weapon that you can use to change the world.” This means we have to move forward and invest more in education in order to create solutions for urgent global challenges. The challenge for education to think about new concepts is more urgent than ever. In a world where complexity increasingly touches every aspect of our daily lives, education is more than ever a vital lever to innovate our society and learn children to handle situations and solve challenges. But how are we performing in education these days? Are we learning children to solve the challenges of the future? Many schools struggle with the challenge to become excellent schools, but the only step to take is become a High Performance School!

We can do much better!

CBE has developed a High Performance Schools Program that is based on scientific evidence as well as on the conviction that schools are able to achieve much better results! In HPS principals and teachers permanently focus on increasing their performance. The goal is to achieve outstanding results in an excellent and inspiring educational environment. Children flourish in a culture of High Trust, High Expectations and High Support!

Becoming a High Performance School

The translation from the theoretical approach into practical implications for schools is being made in a two year cooperation contract. Schools establish a list of features and goals of High Performance and consequently identify steps to attain these goals. In participating, schools are connected to the High Performance Program and a Leadership Community. In this community, there is room for leadership development, team development and the development of teachers in order to become top professionals. High Performance School diagnoses are part of the program; it supports schools in their development.
